With 22 September being announced as a public holiday in Australia we recommend adding this day as a non-teaching day in SEQTA.
Adding a future non-teaching day
Steps to add a non-teaching day for a future date after the timetable has commenced.
- Navigate to Timetable management > Manage Days.
- In the non-teaching days list, click on the '+' icon and add the day.
- Click 'Save' on the Manage days page.
- If the day does not manifest in the teacher's timetables after a few moments, click 'Save' on the Manage days page a second time and look out for the 'Calendar deployment in progress' message.
NOTE: Teaching staff should be notified about the potential impact in their Programme planners.
Programme planner, Lesson organiser and Assessment dates
If there had been a lesson planned for that day, it would need to be moved to another teaching day. This can be achieved through the Lesson organiser. Depending on the how many other lessons thereafter require a reshuffle, the flow on effect could also impact assessment dates.
