Rubrics in the Library are only accessible through the 'Assessable Criterion' section when editing an assessment. There is no central managing page. An assessment can be created, but not saved, from any programme if needing only to access the library.
The steps for this are as follows:
- Click on the Load Programme icon for the class.
- Select Overview of Assessments.
- Under 'Assessable Criteria', select the button next to Rubric.
- Library button, to open the Rubric Library pane.
- Use the search filters to find the applicable Rubrics.
The following filters are available, and should remain as set until the browser tab is reloaded or closed:
- Department (default to departments of subjects linked to the class in the context of which we're operating.) We only show in-use departments in the drop-down (that is, linked to a subject or active teacher). Include an "unset" option.
- Year level (default to programme's nominal year) We only show in-use schoolyears in the drop-down (that is, linked to an active student). Include an "unset" option.
- Staff (default to all)
- Official or all (default to all)
- Favourite or all (default to all)
- Search (find-as-you-type, delay of ~500ms) – searches rubric titles, line headers, line descriptions, descriptor text, tags, author name.
- Click on the "+" Add this rubric to the builder button.
- You can then edit your new rubric. Library rubric remains unchanged.
- You can add a rubric to a list of favourites by clicking on the heart.
