The Sync process will always sync the student 'Status' before the 'Exit Date'. Due to this, the 'Exit Date' will only be synced if it is entered and synced into SEQTA, prior to the student record being archived in the admin system.
If the student doesn't show on the 'Attendance Roll', however, they do show in the 'Marks Book' (after they have left) it indicates the 'Exit Date' is incorrect or has not been entered into the student record.
Method 1
This method is only suitable if the exit date is known in advance. For this reason, it's not always practical in which case method 2 can be used.
- Set the 'Exit Date' in the Admin System.
- Run a sync (or let the Overnight Sync run).
- Archive student record in the Admin System.
- Run another Sync.
Method 2
This method is used in most cases as it allows an Administrator to change the exit date and status at the same time in the admin system.
- Change the 'Exit Date' and archive the student record in the admin system.
- Run a sync (or let the Overnight Sync run).
- Enter the 'Exit Date' directly into SEQTA. To do this:

- Go to the 'Administration Workspace' > 'Data Management' > 'Student'.
- Find then select the student record.
- Enter the 'Exit Date' and click 'SAVE'.
