The sync process is used to sync data from an external system into SEQTA. The sync also sets the flags based on the data in the external systems (eg. which contact type is flagged for email).
Reporting issues and requesting changes
The sync process is setup during implementation, after that any changes or issues with the sync are handled by the SEQTA Service desk.
Please raise a ticket should assistance or changes be required. Include as much detail as possible and where applicable include examples (eg. class 7ENG is missing from period 3 Wednesdays for the teacher 'Mrs Smith'. If changing systems please give as much notice as possible and the sync code will need to be changed to suit.
Details on available fields in SEQTA available on request as are details of the sync rules currently in place. Email authorisation from the SEC or STC may be required before details of sync rules can be provided.
