Assessments can be managed in conjunction with Turnitin or myEd, or directly in SEQTA using WISP assessments or E-submissions.
To avoid confusion, it's recommended only one submission type be used for each assessment.
The following submission types are available through SEQTA:
- WISP Assessments: WISP (Web Integrated Submission Platform) assessments allow students to create their assessments using the SEQTA suite's inbuilt editor. When the student saves their work, a snapshot will be submitted automatically and be accessible through the Marks book. This allows teachers time to provide feedback prior to the due date.
- E-Submissions: Enabling the e-submission option will allow students to upload a document as an assessment through SEQTA. This assessment can then be viewed by the parent in SEQTA Engage and downloaded by the teacher through the marks book. Once submitted, teachers can access student's submission through the Marks book where they can enter comments and grades.
- Turnitin Assessments: Assessments can be managed in conjunction with Turnitin. This option will only be available once the school has correctly configured and enabled Turnitin integration.
- myEdOnline Assessments: Assessments can be managed in conjunction with myEdOnline integration. This option will only be available once the school has correctly configured and enabled myEd integration and myEd has been linked to the Programme.
Accepted File Types for E-submissions
Most file types are accepted. This includes, but is not limited to, Adobe files, Google documents, .JPEGs and .PDFs. Systems files such as .EXE cannot be uploaded. It is recommended that .PAGES files be saved as PDFS prior to being uploaded into SEQTA for cross-platform compatibility.
SEQTA is integrated with Google drive to allow students and staff to easily access Google documents. Integration with Turnitin, myEd and other software packages is also available. In addition to these, SEQTA has it's own online submission platform called 'WISPS', which allow teachers to work more collaboratively with students. WISP's are also used for students required to submit a submission that is a link/URL.
