Reporting syllabus sets are used in place of reporting on syllabus using assessments. Reporting syllabus can be assigned to specific subjects, or selected through the Marks book setting in the programme itself. Once enabled, additional columns display in the Reporting section of the marks book for teachers to enter the syllabus results.
Please note that it is not advisable to use reporting syllabus for VET courses in cases where the RSVET export is required.

Syllabus Items
Syllabus items are drawn from syllabus stored in the school's SEQTA database. The method of marking can be set for each Syllabus item, the options available are: 'Graded', 'Numeric', 'Custom Values' and 'Inherit'.
Inherit is the default and is based on marks book course type 'Calculator', this means a Grades-based course type will be set as 'Graded' (Based on Cut-offs), whereas a Mixed-mode or Numeric course type will be set as 'Numeric' (Recorded as a Percentage).
By default each syllabus item is available for all report types, however, once this is changed it will only be available for one set of report types (for example if available for 'Semester Reports' it will not be available for 'Interim Reports'.
