The correspondence page can be used to merge student attendance and pastoral care data into correspondence to students and parents. An initial setup process is required to make use of this functionality.
- Click on Administration workspace > Correspondence
- Select the correspondence type by clicking on the Send SMSes, Send Letters, Send Emails or Send Direqt Messages
- Select the mode Attendance data or Pastoral care data
- Select Students, Guardians or Both (Guardians and Students).
- Select the applicable Preset from the drop-down. The 'Edit' button is only used if creating a new template or editing an existing template.
- Type a message using the editor or select a template. To save a message as a template then type in a name for the template and click 'Save'.
- Click the Preview button at the top of the page. This will display a preview of the correspondence.
- Check any merge fields to ensure they are displaying the correct data.
- Then click Process and click YES to confirm and send the correspondence.
