There are a number of causes that can affect the quality of photos on reports.
When reporting issues with photos, please contact the SEQTA Service desk and give at at least one example (student name and the report name).
Photos may appear with poor quality when:
- Viewed in a web-browser, as opposed to a dedicated PDF reader (eg: Acrobat reader).
- The report is not using high-resolution photos
- The quality of the photo is low. Please refer to the article Photo image requirements for recommended format for photos.
How to open reports in a PDF reader
If the file association settings on the computer are set correctly, PDF's will display in a dedicated PDF reader such as Adobe. This setting can be configured by the schools IT dept (as it is not a SEQTA setting).
Until the file association issue is resolved, PDF's can be opened by first saving the report to the desktop (or somewhere you can find it). Next, open the file by double-clicking on it. The PDF should open in a PDF viewer as opposed to a web-browser and the image quality should be good.
