The Notices page in SEQTA Teach is used to share information with staff, students and parents. Notices can be configured to display in SEQTA Learn and SEQTA Engage on the Notices page, or through the Notices app.
The Notices app requires no authentication and is accessed by going to a specific URL (eg. notices.schoolname.wa.edu.au).
The Notices permissions are as follows:
- Ntc: Add: Allows notices to the notice page, edit own notes
- Ntc: Edit all: Allows the Editing and Deleting of Notices
- Ntc: Read: Read notices on the notice page
Creating (adding) and editing notices
Editing a notice does not change the created date. To set a notice to display first when using 'Sort by date' option, a new note will need to be created.
- Go to the Home workspace > Notices
- Click the Add notice button to create a new Notice or click on the edit icon for the notice you would like to edit
- Enter a Title, if applicable select a Label
- Select the day repetition and date-range.
- Select audience:
- Visible in SEQTA Learn and SEQTA Engage: Visible to staff (SEQTA Teach), guardians (SEQTA Engage and students (SEQTA Learn)
- Staff only: Visible to staff (SEQTA Teach)
- Click Save
Deleting notices
- Go to the Home workspace > Notices
- Click the Bin icon on the notice, then click Delete
- Click Save
Creating and managing notice labels
- Go to the Home workspace > Notices
- Select Configure labels. Alternately, click the Configure... button when creating or editing a notice.
- Create a new label by typing in a label name, or select an existing label to edit.
- Select a colour or leave with the random colour the system assigns
- Click OK to keep the changes
Displaying notices by campus or sub-school
