SEQTA provides a number of features to assist staff with quickly accessing student medical information. The following topics are covered in this article:
Medical alerts and medical notes
Medical alerts and medical notes can be synced from the schools administration system OR managed directly in SEQTA through the Administration workspace > Data Management> Students.
If entering data directly into SEQTA, it is essential this component of the sync be disabled to prevent changes from being overwritten when the nightly sync runs.
- 'Medical notes' display in the medical pane in the SIP and when hovering over the Medical alert icon.
- 'Medical alerts' display as a heart icon next to the student name in the SIP and other areas in SEQTA such as the Attendance roll page.
Medical alerts and medical notes stored in Consent2Go can be displayed in place of the standard medical view. Detailed information and setup steps are available in the article: Consent2Go integration setup
There are two options for uploading student plans. These are:
- The 'Student plan' page can be used to create a plan or upload a file which can then be accessed by clicking on the Student plan icon in the SIP. To access the Student plan page, go to the Pastoral care workspace > Student plans page.
- Medical plan documents can be uploaded to the SIP by selecting the student name, then clicking on the Manage Student files pane at the right hand side of the SIP, then Add files. This can then be referenced in the medical alert and medical note to ensure staff are aware to check under the student files.
